Tahkai
Project
is
an
organization
created
to
promote
urban
reforestation,
protection
of
wildlife
habitat, ecological education,
nature
appreciation, local beautification, sustainable resource management, and experiential opportunities for
Durham and our
surrounding communities. Through the propagation, distribution and planting of young
trees, we
strive to promote values of patience, endurance, cooperation, attentiveness, knowledge and
vision. All
are welcomed and encouraged to participate.
